About the event
Suitable for all ages - for the youngsters we will have lots of sponges, stamps and all sorts of creative ideas to paint the tiles and for the older we can assist with use of stencils, liners and even silkscreens.
Included in the price is everything needed to decorate a piece of pottery with our specialist glazes, squash for all painters and a small snack.
The £5 payable at point of booking is deducted from whatever you choose to paint.
Please ensure you book a non-painting participant to allow us to accommodate everyone. This includes prams and pushchairs. We do have a limited number of highchairs and have baby changing facilities.
We will of course have our excellent range of drinks priced from £1 for cans and up to £2.50 for our tasty shmoo milkshakes. Children will receive FREE squash. We will have a range of sensibly priced snacks and toasties made fresh in the studio. Please refrain from bringing snacks into the studio. Some foods react with the glaze in the kiln - so we do not want to create any issues.
Your pottery will then be left with us to dry, be clear glazed and then fired through our in house kilns and ready to collect within around 10 days after your visit.
For a clay based session, pricing is based apon what you want to make. This is just £15 including your bisque firing for your first ball of clay. (after a period of drying time - please note this drying time is often longer than the pottery painting turnaround) Additional 500g balls of clay are priced at £7. You will recieve assistance from our staff, access to a wide range of cutters, stamps and textured rollers. We have heaps of ideas and you will have the oppurtunity once your pieces are fired to either come back and paint your pieces with our glazes and refire or take home and paint at home. The £5 deposit paid at point of booking will be deducted from the initial £15.00 workshop, with the balance to pay on the day.

Non painting participant
We welcome non painters to join our painters but request that we know numbers to ensure there is space on your table. We often don't have space space for non painters to overspill onto other tables. During busy sessions we request one non painting participant per painter. Will will monitor numbers and have the right to change non painting participant numbers.
