About the event
Join us to create your own Sorting Hat or Wicked Hat! The cost is £15 per participant.
Using clay and a variety of hand tools, you'll learn to prepare and roll out the clay, use our templates, and craft your own Wicked Hat or Sorting Hat. We'll have plenty of examples on display for inspiration!
Note that each booking allows for one non-participant. Adults are welcome to join and participate!
After the workshop, your creations will be left to dry and then bisque fired in our kilns, a process that may take up to three weeks. Once ready, you'll be notified to either collect your piece or schedule a session to apply our specialized glazes and undergo a second firing to enhance the colors. An additional painting session in the studio is available at £10 per hat, covering glaze use and the second firing.
